This 33"x22" poster shows the Miocene outcrops in the Continental Shelf off the coast of North Carolina. The map and four cross sections were constructed from the interpretation of high-resolution seismic-reflection data collected in association with research programs funded by the National Science Foundation, NOAA Sea Grant, U.S. Minerals Management Service, U.S. Geological Survey, and the North Carolina Geological Survey.
